Looks like they sold out of the 52″ Sharp LCD, but there’s still alot of other deals on there

Amazon is amazing! as of 2:04 EST (GMT-5.00) the shop is pretty much closed… But I rang up 12 TVs (4×46″, 1×32″, 4×26″, and 3x 19″ TV/DVD combos).. total price after shipping and tax was $1060… got confirmation, lets see if they ship…
    either way, someone’s getting fired.

Wow, Stumble upon found me this link. The 52’s were gone, I ordered 3 46’s for $428 shipped.. I can’t help but feel like this is a too good to be true find. If It dosen’t work out at least Amazon/Visa will give me my money back..

Looks like they’re all gone already. Ha!

I’m pretty sure they can’t do anything once the order is confirmed. Gamefly had an issue where they accidentally posted all coupons like three times…I got three games before they fixed it and still got them for the discounted (free) price.

why is it people bother with stuff like this? you obviously knew it was a mistake. Why bother?

  • FulrgleBurgle // Sep 9, 2008 at 6:30 am

I thought that if you found something incorrectly priced in a store they had to sell it you at that price because they stuffed up..

if they gave you a receipt and order form then they should be accountable.

GL paying hundreds in lawyer fees to get it tho

I’m not sure about the US, but in the UK if anything has a low price in a store it’s referred to as an ‘invitation to treat’ and they’re not obliged to sell it at that price.

However, in cases like this it’s a bit more unclear. If payment hasn’t been taken then the store stands in good grounds to cancel the order. If payment HAS been taken and the despatch confirmation has been sent then it’s a little more complicated!
